Pollination is one of the most important things that plants need.
This diagram also talks about the center of the flower and also explains more about the parts of each one! The center also has scent and nectar inside of it too to atract bees and other insects. The link blelow (in red font) tells you the names of each part and the definition of each part. For more details on each part check the drop down menu about "Parts of the Flower". That gives you more information on each part rather than just a defininton and an image like how I have explained here.
Next comes the stem. The stem is mostly a bright green color. The stem is normally divided into two parts such as the nodes and the buds. The nodes hold one or more leaves which is the same with the buds which can grow into branches as well. Most flowers have the same stem. They also have simaliar parts too. The stem is supposed to help stabilize the leaves in place. This helps to transfer water and minerals all though out the plant itself. The link below (in red font) shows a diagram of the parts of the stem.
Last comes the petals. The petals normally come in many diffrent shapes and sizes and colors. They are often very vibrant and bright beautiful colors. But diffrent flowers come with diffrent colors. Like sunflowers come with yellow colored petals. This happens to attract pollinaters. Bees and other insects are atarcted by one of these parts of the flower. But studies show that there are many diffrent ways that insects are atracted by the flower. Like nectar, bright colors ect..
